Fearless she was and brave,
Who to the warpath led
Her followers into victory

A Man among the men.
She was a man among the men,
Truly regarded as such by all
Both by enemy and foe alike,
When --
She led her men to war.
Stern she was and brave
A general among the men
And so she was to the end
As --
A man among the men.
